SAVE Produces Awareness Video

USCIS announces that the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program recently produced a short video to help benefit applicants understand SAVE’s immigration status verification process.

More than one thousand federal, state and local agencies use SAVE to verify the legal status of immigrants and non-immigrants applying for public benefits. In the past 12 months, those agencies have queried SAVE 952,038 times.

You can now easily learn how SAVE works and how benefit-granting agencies rely on SAVE to help determine who is eligible to receive a benefit. Benefit applicants will learn why they should always provide their most recent immigration document(s) during the SAVE verification process, how to correct a mistake in their immigration records, and the value of SAVE Case Check.

View the five-minute SAVE Awareness video on the USCIS website. USCIS encourages registered SAVE agencies and our other stakeholders to play the video in their waiting rooms and common areas so the public can view it. Please consider adding the link to your website or sharing it with others.
