Thank you USCIS for the twitter Q&A's. During the past 7 years the USCIS has done more to become accessible to the public than in prior years. Before that time, people had to line up for hours (outside) to ask one immigration question of an officer who may or may not be helpful. It was the typical bureaucratic atmosphere. You have turned the agency around with the forward business thinking.

My 19 yr old cousins father had petitioned him, however he passed away last year before his permanent resident card was issued. His grandmother said that there is nothing she can do. Is this so? Is it a money issue? His father was a legal permanent resident and lived in Rhode Island for many years. I am a U.S. naturalized citizen since 1980, is there anything I can do?
